I've not stopped for the last 32yrs and I've another bloody 18yrs to go . I was skint 32yrs ago and it's not got any better

I hear you and the older you get (unless you have a job that you love) the harder it is to go to work...especially when the reward is small. Do they at least appreciate you? If not, do your best anyway and appreciate yourself!

Right, I have a 76 year old woman who comes by to collect my stuff about once a week and she always has a full cart. She WORKS for every single can but, she gets her rent paid.....

Scotland is not like the USA or at least Texas. We could make a freakin' fortune with all the aluminum cans that are abandoned here.

Lower your standards, there still are jobs that many people will not do, and opportunities are available. Go to your local DET office and see what they have listed, work with a caseworker there.
