What make up are you lost without?At one time i wouldnt go anywhere without my mascara.When i was younger i used to take a lot of care with my nails,you never saw them short and unvarnished either!Nowadays when i go out,i just comb my hair!!!

I used to make sure I had the mascara on, but these days I need all the help I can get, I have to have the works, coverstick, foundation, blush, eyeliner (pencil) except for now, just about to finish nightshift and I think Im past caring, I'll probably scare the day staff though

I am a Lancome girl... moisturizer, foundation, blush and mascara. Lately I have been pulling my hair off my face... I need a cut. ... And a bit of lipgloss (Body Shop) I always wear a body spray... Vanilla... I smell like a baked good!

fish girl - me too and do I need a cut - cannot be bothered - I have so much make, creams lotions potions so many difficult to choose used to use a lot of Lancome when younger - I need a course in how to apply all the make-up but mosturiser is very important - always wear mascara though. I have said before you know you are getting olf whe the guy you pass doesn't look around to see you again. Love the smell of vanilla. These days I just sometimes apply Elemis Total Glow self tanning cream good mosturizer and gives a gentle tan colour to the face. Basically I need a total body workout skin wise - although people can never believe how old I am put this down to the mosturizer used all my life.

I have a bucket loads of make-up. Fortunately I have a daughter who raids my make-up bags regularly. Keeps things fresh.
Moisurizer is important .... only once has someone said to my son, "Oh you are out with Grandma today". That was an off day!

LOL. Love this question and your intro leosmami. I like to wear all my "stuff" when I go out, but I don't wear lipstick (gloss on occasion, lip conditioner often).
There was a point in time (and it will come again when my hair is a little longer) when I would blow-dry my hair and leave it UNcombed purposefully. Oddly enough, I got compliments on those days.......yikes.
(BTW, I go without makeup quite often nowadays, and it doesn't seem to make any difference to the world at large. Tells me how much attention I am attracting.....)

I think you may be right. I work with a guy who obviously uses facial make-up foundation and instant tanning cream, but would never admit it. He really needs help in the use of his products, inexperienced. So de-masculinizing, though! (Is that even a word? Think you know what I mean!) What woman wants a man that wears make-up? You'd be in competition for bathroom space getting ready each morning!

I use Max Factor foundation to smooth out my skin tone. Then I use Cover Girl mascara, lipstick and face powder for shine.. Nothing else. No blush, no eyeliner, no eye shadow, no eyebrow pencil. I can do without all if I have to, but usually don't. One thing, though, is that my hair has to be clean and look good. Can't do without that!! ;-}

Just visited my daughter, and when she's rushed she uses a product called "Rockaholic" dirty secret,when she hasn't got time to wash her hair, couldn't believe how good it works (had to try it of course)

Thank you lambshank. Never heard of it.Will look into it. Used to be dry shampoos were awful, but so many products work so much better these days.Where are you lambshank? I picked up a facial cleanser in Ireland that I loved, but could not find it back home in the U.S., not even online.
