    i have a lovely old cast iron bath

    its been (i think)painted in the past and all the paints shelling off it.Any ideas what i can do to improve it please?Its a lovely deep bath and i really would prefer not to replace it

    Hopefully the paint under the top coat is fine. Otherwise it's quite a project to repaint the tub, see here for that >> http://www.thisoldhouse.com/toh/video/0,,1631531,00.html
