i am a director in an american company what am i entitled to thanks
i have signed an MOU with them in mining my posistion is to meet them and keep in contact with them until mining operations start then the partnership i am in takes control and they state I am not entitled to anything until operations start

depends on the size of the company and how much responsibility you carry and how many meetings you attend and are u in town or an O O Town director. Count on DIRECTOR`S FEES and stock options if its a public co. and you contribute much as Director.

obviously robyn, there is blue sky for you. If the company has the potential of a discovery, you should do well. Do you have stock options as part of compensation and get paid in cash for other services. What is the cash position of the company and its burn rate. May be u get paid nothing now so you must get paid handsomely later BUT have that in writing so there is no future problems.
