All religions of the world deserve respect and tolerance. There should be no mine is better than yours response because we all see the Devine in our own particular way. The world would be a better place if we could accept each others differences and not force our beliefs onto others.

In junior college, I studied "world religions"; at the time, that included Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Taoism, and Islam.
In each, I found elements that were extraordinary and beautiful.  My personal preference is Christianity.  You won't find me "congratulating", condemning or chastising anyone for his faith, be it the same or different than mine, or lack thereof.  
I would appreciate the same consideration. 

Buddhism......I love the Buddhist Principles and the Meditations.

Other than my religion, I do like Buddhism. My husband and I did a 6 weeks meditation with the Buddhist temple in Wollongong.

Jehovahs Witnesses for their dedication and the Amish for their firm belief, neither of which is my religion.

I agee with Ed 1530, the American Indians were a great and noble race who had a respect for the natural order.

Buddhist are on the right track, do no harm to anyone.

ISLAM.

Because it is a religion of peace (ignore the fundamentalist who give it a bad name) and respects All other religions. It grows fast because of its teachings. Of course one has to choose between the two branches - the shias and the sunnis.  The former is more dominent on the esoteric.

The Shakers are interesting, they made beautiful things out of wood.

I also like Zoroastraianism. The basis of this religion is the conflict between good and evil personified in the deities Ahura Mazda ( good) and Angra Mainyu (bad). Sadly this religion has almost been wiped out in Iran, its country of origin but survives in India as Parsee.

I dont have a religion but actually admire the Jehovahs Witnesses for the fact they have the courage of their convictions and go out door knocking,they must get a lot of abuse. At my previous house we used to regularly have a couple call,they knew we were not going to follow their faith but they always came in for a cup of tea and a biscuit.And didnt sell you religion,nice people

I'm Christian, this is the only road I walk on.

None. They are all variations of condescending rules that many people believe they need in order to be functional citizens.

I'm fine with that but am resentful when these same people believe that people like me should do likewise.

I admire all past and current religions.

The problem is with  the extremism and intolerrance practiced by the members of some religions, not so much in the past - it cannot be changed - but in the present time.

Would like to see him open his mind some. I know that's difficult for the extremists.

All religions that do not encourage their following to murder innocent people. Islam apparently is not on my favorites list. To hell with you all.

Only the fanatical believe this. Sort of like the Christian soldiers once believed this way. Every religion has it's fanatics. For the Islamic religion, it's the Taliban, no different than the Christ Crusaders. The majority of Muslims believe in peace and non violence.

I'm not in their land, I live in the USA and the US will never go back to killing gays. Been there, done that. I'm not worried.

I study a few religion in my younger day, and found that religion is a form of ways to govern people. So I concluded that I wont take that road, and decide it to read the Bible for myself and behold I was overwhelm,I knew without a doubt that I came across the truth of the word, no other men or women could of said these words that open my mind,and fill me with joy that was beyond my expectation, My conclusion is " The whole duty of mankind is to obey the ten commandment " AND I WOULD ADD " Love your neighbor as yourself"

This is not opinion. You are preaching. It's none of your business what my relationship with God is. I need no thumper to question my relationship with God. Take your pulpit and go find a Christian forum.
And yes, I removed your message to witchway. You did not need to put your religion up against her beliefs that all religions deserve respect.

Islam. The book that muslims follow cannot be changed whereas the bible was written by many poeple so it might have been changed. The muslims worship 1 god (Allah) who can make things happen and has created the world, universe, galaxy and the whole of space whereas religions who pray to a statue, the statue cannot talk, walk oor move in any way (unless you move it).

Umbriel i see you have a lot of passion for this topic.  me too.

Well you all know I will say Christian, but the Buddhists I've met seem to be pretty peaceful people. And weather I agree with them or not I respect the peace that they have.
