We have put a Christmas tree in the family room. Our granddaughter has decorated it. This is the first time she has seen Christmas decorations and trees. When it gets nearer to Christmas we will take her out at night to see the lights on the houses. I'm sure she'll be thrilled. Today, she touched the decorations on a Christmas tree in the shopping centre.

....absolutely will decorate after Thanksgiving (next week). Love the lights and decorations that go around the house and on the tree. I have gold metal snowflake ornaments that hold a photo in each one. I bought enough to have a set for each of my sons from Christmas 1 through Christmas 18. There are some unfilled snowflakes, even though they are all over 18, but it has to be just the right photo! Those are my favorite ornaments!

I already put two trees up at my inlaws business and decorated. We put ours up the day after Thanksgiving, with Christmas music, left overs, and hot chocolate (top with marshmellow cream and a candy cane) On Dec 5 we make a countdown to Chrismas chian out of constrution paper.

I'm going to do like I did last year. I bought a small 4' tree and decorated it with dollar store ornaments and lights. When Christmas was over, I donated the entire tree to GoodWill. I will also bring out my Christmas candles and doo dads that I place around the house. And I am thinking of putting up the Christmas village this year, which takes me at least 3 days. I've been collecting the components for years and it's quite extensive. I only put it up every 3-5 years and I have a few new pieces, so I think I might just do that. We'll be at our cabin, so we are hoping for a White Christmas. That will be the best "decoration" of all. Oh, and of course the stockings will be hung by the chimney with care ... 4 for the animals and 4 for the humans.

This will be the first year I havn't, we are still in the process of replacing a kitchen and then have to leave the house to have the floors tiled, so Im in such a mess I don't think it would work this year, I will miss all the hoo haa tho, I love chrissy stuff and I adore all the lights, I always take our clients out for a drive at night so they can see them,I think I get more out of it though.

Doubt I will bother with Christmas decorations, but my hubby will put me to shame, as he will put them up, even though he does not celbrate Christmas, but enjoys Christmas dinner.
