Once the girls hit puberty it is only natural that they will want to experiment with make-up.As long as it is not applied to the extremes i don't have a problem with it.As parents we know damn well they don't need to because they have fresh lovely faces anyway. It is all part of being a female i guess.

Its up to the people that are raising them. I believe that experimenting is fun. It teaches your feminine side. By the age of eighteen you should have some idea of wether makeup is needed or not. The thing that I try to remember about me is how long can I go without it. When you get older it begins to really make you think about skin and how to take care of it. I hope my opinion helps.

My daughter is 12 and in the 6th grade. I would be ok with her wearing lip gloss and masscara... SHe however thinks girls that wear makeup look like whores.
It really depends on why the girl wants to wear makeup. She may have some tone or complection issues. In the case I would take her to a makeup artist who could suggest remedies. (creams lotions light makeup.
I had very red and oily skin in middle school. I was picked on. If a light makeup would help a girl not go through that.. I say way not. Not all makeups are think or cakey.
