Sometimes it isn't the internet provider, but the computer. It depends on the RAM and all of the programs that you may be running that you really don't need running. Take your curser to the bottom of your page and right click on it and click on task manager. Look at the processes and CPU usage along with all the other applications. You'd be surprised why your computer may be slow. I also go to my event viewer and look at all of the thousands of stored events that sometimes need to be cleared. All of these things may slow a computer down.

The problems affecting internet speed are often the noise on-line. Check it out for yourself…log into your internet provider then plug a phone into the modem-phone line and listen to the crackling noise on the phone lines….It is a wonder anyones equipment works there is so much noise.
