      I have heard of Cortisone shots having adverse reactions like this.You should tell your doctor asap.

        Cortozone shots sometimes takes a few days to take effect, your soreness is probably the result of the needle and will subside shortly. Sometimes we must 'drop back 5 in order to score'..

          Any shot ANYWHERE is going to get sore. Some more than others.


          Give it a day or two.


          You should be ok.
