    Even if you found someone to ride w/ to a construction job to work he wont let u work it? if not why not? why somewhere like mcdonalds for min. wage?

    If I understand this correctly my answer would be " His reputation "  You speak for some one on a construction job and its your butt on the line . No one talks you in without putting their job on the line .Simple as that . No one is worth losing your job or your reputation over . You either get in on your own or its McDonald's for you . Sad but a fact of life . Part of the construction culture and thats it . Like it or not .
