Satanists? Witches?- NO. In Spain, between about 1930 and 1989 Catholic priests, nuns and doctors stole up to 300,000 babies and sold them to rich Spaniards. Originally opponents to Gen.Franco had their babies taken and sold mothers were told their babies had died and that they could not see the bodies. After Franco it was used as means of income for the Church, perhaps to pay compensation to those who have been sexually abused by priests. Is this Church morally bankrupt?

Spain’s Stolen Babies: 300,000 Children Abducted by Nuns and Sold
Written by Wm. Hopper,
author of “The Heathen’s Guide to World Religions”
"BBC is running a story this week on a long-running adoption scam wherein ‘good” nuns and priests stole an estimated 300,000 children from their mothers in order to sell them for adoption. Young, unwed mothers were told that their child had died and that no burial services would be performed. The child was then sold to “good, Christian parents” who would be able to bring the child up “right”. This went on for fifty years, and the scope of it is only now coming to light.
The notion of religious ‘good’ is, at best, subjective. Most often it’s simply a convenient term used to do exactly what you want to do, but with ‘God’s permission’. This is why– when I am invariably accused of attacking decent, ‘good’ religious folk– I have to ask: Whose ‘good’ are they working for? Usually, it’s not mine. (or yours).
Religious ‘good’ is just a code-word for trying to make the world obey your God. Good Christians will feed the poor, but only the ones who are willing to sit through a sermon before they eat. They will give groceries to a desperate mother in need, but the food they give won’t come from a store. It will be donated. After all, why should the higher-ups part with their 6-figure salaries so junkies, addicts, whores, and homosexuals can eat? They spend God’s money on ‘good’ things that make society pure, like clean clothes and family-friendly housing. No use wasting it on scum who will use it to live un-Christian lives.
This is the way of charity in almost every religion: Self-defined acts of ‘good’, the definition of which sometimes includes abducting and selling 300,000 children (or any other atrocity). When the current scandal fades from the headlines, you can bet that the people who committed these crimes will still believe that what they did was ‘right’. They will find succor in the thought that, no matter how the ‘liberal press’ wants to spin it, these children grew up in healthy Christian homes instead of learning from heathenous, Hell-bound parents. In their minds they saved these children’s bodies and souls, and should be rewarded, not scorned."

Do not think if there is a God he/she would be pleased unless he/she is as narrow minded and self centred as the ones who carried out this diabolical act.
incredable, it's hard to imagine that this goes on in this day and age,but then again nothings shocking in this day and age. what blows my mind is the fact that 300,000 parents couldn't figure out that their babies were being stolen , and worse is the people that did this, you would expect this from a third world nation, indeed they will have to answer to god for this..

I know about the inhuman bullfights and the downright disgusting animal cruely of the Galco, The Greyhound. This cant be a religious nation. Theire Catholic church is a disgrace for the catholic religion. This is also criminal. Has anyone ever been brought to justice for that? Knowing all that, I would never set foot in this country.

Can anyone get their children back? And did the new parents know where the babies came from?

Isn't that the country that Michelle Obama rented a beach and palace deal? Funny... her concerns for children and what they eat, but isn't addressing reasoning behind this. It just seems unreal that our own govenment hasn't put some of this information to a more public forum and questioned our Catholic Churches about this. Maybe they have, but I missed it.

Read the report by a BBC reporter who visited one of the doctors involved ;

Graves are now being exhumed of the allegedly deceased babies. One containd stones, another an adult human leg. I do find it strange that this matter has taken so long to surface, but Spain has many secrets dating back to their civil war.
