Wow...poor Colleen...I was wondering as I knew she lived in Connecticut and I hadn't seen her online..will try to give her a ring tomorrow (if her phone is working!)....will let everyone know if I get through to her!...she must be going bonkers not being able to type her fingers to the bone like she does!..(:

Aww, thanks CB. I thought about you all everyday hoping all was well with everyone. I had some cold boring days and nights. I don't think I've read so much in 20 years, lol.

I am glad you are back. One of my sons just got his back yesterday too. He had to rent a Generator. He said many trees from his neighbors yard came down over in his yard. He had to do alot of cleaning up. Thank god it started to warm up. What a nightmare. How did you manage with all the dogs and birds? Connecticut had more snow last winter than we did in New Hampshire. That is not normal.

All my best to your son. Does he have power yet? Yes, CT seems to have gotten the worst of the storm. I think it's time to move. It's still a mess here and some are still without power. It will be a few weeks I guess before all the downed tress and limbs are cleared away.

I talked with my son today. He had power yesterday afternoon and its out again. What a mess. I am glad you are alright. Connecticut is going to the dogs lately and not just weatherwise. My son has been with United Technologies for 21 years(It used to be Pratt & Whitney). , so he has no choice but to stay.

We were told to expect intermittent outages as the turned power off to connect power to other streets, so far no outages. My grandfather worked for Pratt for about 40 years. The one he worked at closed 5 years ago. CT is fast becoming too expensive of a state to live in, just another reason for me to sell and move.

My area of the state got about a foot of snow but most of that is gone now. Some towns got 2 feet or more. Crazy storm. The days have been warm so the snow melted quickly. We just have the patches now where the snow banks were. Now it's just pules apon pules apon piles of limbs, branches and cut up tress.

I missed everyone. You are not suspended again but you have been walking a thin line I see ;) Yes, it got cold here at night. The days weren't bad though as temps got into the high 50's, low 60's. Boredom was harder than the cold though. I did a lot of reading, that's all I could do.

((((hipster)))......best thing, I got my power back before I missed another Sunday football game!!! LOL Watching the Giants take on the Patriots right now. Giants are my first team and the Pats are my second team so this is one of my most favorite games to watch. I'm so happy I didn't have to miss it!
