    You should have heard Perry Como, but you're prob not old enough. Ask you grandma or great-- grandma about him. Play one of her Como albums on her turntable.

    I heard Perry. He was my mother's favorite. There are many great singers I left out inasmuch as the list was limited to 10.

    You guys all nailed it. Big YES for Al Green. Got his albums ; and for Marvin Gaye.

       We're goin' back a ways, but I personally thought Perry Como had the best , most pure and effortless singing voice

    There are heaps, but the ones that come to mind are mostly oldies, Joe Cocker, Cat Stevens, John Denver, Gene Pitney, Roy Orbison, Bob Marley, Jimmy Hendrix, John Lennon,Ray Charles, and John Farnham
