You made me laugh when you said "I'll go with teeth "- I suppose it is a silly question but it is actually the vertebrae you are right there are 33 - still are though in the Adult cervical 7, thoracic 12 lumbar 5,sacrum 5(fused)coccyx 4 (fused) usually fused to sacrum. So you were right should have said "I'll go with vertebrae".
michmar118 - would you believe I was just going to bed 5am and I just knew someone if not chelleanne would come back with this - I began to get confused myself about fused - but I think they are still count as separate bones - I will check this out have checked it and they can be considered as separate - memory not so good this does not include the skull as part of the vertical column. I will try to think of some helpful ones many thanks.
