This is interesting Colleen.I consulted your map of the world to get an answer for this one.It shows The tropic of Capricorn running thru Sth Africa.I don't know if that is correct but if you move the map eastward to Australia it shows the tropic running thru somewhere around Sydney whereas in fact it is some 800 miles North of that.(Gladstone in Queensland)Now... I'm not being picky & I know it's not your fault but I just found it interesting that the map makers could make a mistake like that.
Perhaps it depends on when the map was made. The face of the earth is changing year after year.

We try to pay attention to how many same type questions come from a user. We then know it's homework. We may help with one or two but stop very short of doing their entire homework assignment. We've all been there and done that and without the use of internet or strangers to do our homework for us. Kids today are not as well educated as kids of yesteryear. We are doing our best to try and get them to learn on their own by not becoming a free "get your homework done here" site ;)
