Great link and definitely a good laugh (at the cartoon) and a good read, too. I noted in a column (or maybe two or more) a few years back that the only gas emissions danger to our ozone layer was from the mouths of political folks like Al Gore. And really, did anyone but me see the striking resemblance to this whole Global Warming facade and the old kid's story Chicken Little? The sky is falling, the sky is falling! No son, a nut (allegorically and fittingly named Al Gore) bonked you on the head. And the only "green" technology they're really interested in are the kickbacks to their kook friends running kook "green" companies. (I do note that US dollars are green, so they aren't totally being dishonest.) As for taking today's journalists at their word? Don't. The fourth estate is more bankrupt than the US housing market and couldn't spell ethics if you spotted them two Webster's. It isn't truth that drives most journalism now, it's ratings. That you can take to the bank.
