Dear Lewinsam10, certainly NOT.  Those people at the Motor Vehicle Licensing Place will think he/she is an absolute nut.  It's illegal for anyone to talk about your health to anyone else.  They shouldn't have access to your medical records and even if they know you had a stroke, so what!  My Husband had a stroke 8 years ago and he still drives.  Can you pass the driver test and the eye exam?  That's all you need to do.  Forget about him/her and rest easy.  They are just trying to threaten you to scare you and that's all they can think of to hurt you.  I'm very sorry about this. 

This is an issue which involves ONLY you, your doctor and the licensing agency in your state.  No one else has any decision making power.  Don't  respond to the threats.  You might even consider telling him to go ahead and do whatever he needs to do.  I'm guessing the threats will stop.

Please do not be bothered by this man - this is an example of Man's inhumanity to Man - Listen to george, Ducky and Yvonne - Your medical records are confidential and I am also so sorry for this - do not be afraid - you are having treatment and under medical supervision which seems to have kept this under control i.e. the causative factor for seven years - I am so sorry for this too. 

you have to put you license down with epileptic fits seizure activity ,,,unconscious movement not a stroke ,,,,a stroke a child can have ,,,,sometimes there is paralysis with it which would make it hard to drive ,,but this can be helped with occupational therapist and parts added to the car if necessary to help you steer or brake or both,,,,no a stroke doesnt mean you must turn your license in ,,,,a stroke that has caused a seizure disorder will though......if you are having seizures while driving you can kill yourself running into a tree ,,,,or people leaving mcdonalds ,,,,

Do sweat it, the guy can do nothing.

My dad just had a stroke so reading that you are back to normal gives me great hope. My dad has a little Fiero that he had all done up for car shows and we have wondered if he will ever drive it again along with many other life activities he has enjoyed. I agree with everyone else here, the man threatening you is simply crying wolf. Thanks for making my day by the way, you give me hope.
