What fast food chain restaurant sells the best hamburgers?

I use to love Burger King, but I don't taste that flame broil taste anymore. Maybe it is just me!

I agree with you 100%, it seems they are trying to do something with a bottled tasted nowadays, rather than how they use to. It seems they lost sight of what made them different!

    I agree!!

I just came across your question. I noticed a few years ago that there was something different about the flavour of BK's burgers. They are not near as tasty as they used to be. Very disappointing!

None of them, they all taste bland, give me a real hamburger with the lot from a fish & chip shop.

    None!   My house.

I agree. My sister makes her hamburgers out of turkey meat. She uses the right amount of seasoning to give it a good taste. they are really good!

    Hmmmm...sounds healthy too.

No Chelleanne, its not you.  I don't know where you are but here in California the healthfood nazis have just about ruined the taste of fast food.

And yes, BurgerKing has done something that ran me off from there too, they used to be my favorite for the same reason you say, they don't have that 'flame broil' taste anymore and they are about 30% smaller and have tripled in price from about 10 years ago.

So for here in CA, my vote goes to Carl's Jr and their 6 dollar burger that cost 3.89..  If you're a yuppie, then its probably 'In and Out Burger.'

I'm here in Ohio, and I'm glad to here that other people have notice the different taste too!
    Vinny

Hey! I'm from Ohio too! Hamilton/Fairfield.. Like southwest-- Back there I remember 'Hardee's' They are the same company as Carl's Jr out here. but for the best of the best for Ohio it was White castle sliders!! I love those things but when I go back and visit, i know I will be sick all the next day so I try to plan my White castle visit when I have nothing to do the next day!

Burger King used to be my favorite, too, and they did do something that messed it up. It's like the flame went out. In and Out is OK, but the bun....not so much.

I like homemade burgers and I have a few restaurants I like to frequent for my favorite food. But there is always MickyD's when the mood strikes though I don't call them hamburger there....

Not a big fan of hamburgers anymore, but Vinny is right about the Carl's Jr. burgers.  If you gotta eat a burger, that's about the best.  Foster's Freeze isn't too bad, either.
Now French Fries.....McDonald's is the hands-down winner.  (Although, Foster's Freeze has an excellent fry as well, perhaps even better because they are made when they are ordered).

We only have 2 major hamburger fast food restaurants in Australia.Mcdonalds and Hungry Jacks,my pick is Maccas, thier Big Macs have a taste like no other burger.

I think McDonald's is the best for fast food hamburger.  My partner thinks Carl's Jr. & Wendy's is the best.

Hamburger is the garbage of the industry. It comes from low quality animals and low quality cuts. I will just bet mcdonalds gets its beef mostly from argentina. Its so called angus beef , my guess is not from angus animals but a higher fat content in same range as angus. Nobody can tell any difference.

Watch Food Inc. very interesting... not from Argentina at all.
    Mr.Den

    unfortunaly alot is

Wendy's is OK , but can't compare to home grown beef.

The best burgers are from a cafe run by my 2 gay friends about a mile down the road from our house. The take away giants just don't measure up.

    White castle.

OMG - my husband is from Chicago and all I heard was how they used to get White Castles for 15 cents and how good they were. I tried one a couple of years ago while visiting relatives in Illinois ... TRERRIBLE!! Sorry, ed shank
    clu

I remember WhiteCastle from years past! I heard they were made from blood and flour. Back then you got onions and dill chips on them. I've had a few from the new places Not the same!
    Mr.Den

Krystal's is like White Castle....the only good part was they were cheap and you would eat up to 8 of them easy.....

If you ever get to Lima OH you gotta stop at a Kewpee FF joint. I thinkthey weere one of the first FF even before Mickey D's but they nevergot off the ground. I think there's four places in lima yet. They have the best burgers hands down, They make em the way you want right infront of you""

A little more info:The Downtown Lima, OH Kewpee
Built in the 1930's, this Kewpee is a classic diner. It seats around 50 patrons. Before they enlarged their parking lot, it featured a car turntable much like the Kewpee in Racine. Rather than backing out of the lot, a car would pull onto the turntable after which it could be manually turned around. This Kewpee also features the large Kewpie doll over the front door. A few years ago when it need refurbishing and was off the building for repairs, many customers complained that they missed its ever open eyes in Downtown, Lima.

When I want a fast-food burger ... maybe once a month or so, I head for Wendy's and get their double stack. YUM!

I think I make the best in my own house.....I have control over  it that way and it is made my way.........................GREAT AND HOT !!

Hardees for a very good flame-broiled taste, now., ....though I eat one once in a blue moon, concerned about meat quality........

I think you should visit Mr.Den.

    Back Yard Burgers.

I know what you mean. A chain, I like Carl's. I also like Wendy's; they're fried but tasty.

    Don't forget In N Out.

    "WHATABURGER! "

HEROS  and our very own Canadian HARVEY``S  build burgers to your choice before your eyes.

    These are FF Chains!

Burger King stopped flame broiling a few years ago.  I agree, their burgers are not as good.

    I like wend's best.

Burger King's Whopper is still the best in my books.

for now, i can say that it's still the McBurger of McDonald's is still the best for me. however, i've taste few from other brands and it's good. it just happened i wasn't able to go back in those places as i constantly travel around and very seldom to go by on the same place again to confirm of it's taste.
