.....and if you could chose your ride, what would it be? AND, what was your first vehicle? Any interesting background as to how you got it, special memories, etc.
I PUT THE '?' at the end of the question.....really!

I love love love my little Ford Mustang. It is cute. My friends look 'all that' in the passenger seat. My boy, husband and dogs all fit inside and it is sweet to drive. The stereo goes way up loud for Pearl Jam et all. I am in car heaven. I always wanted one and now I have one and I am happy ... car happy.
My first car was a Dodge Colt with a Mitsubishi engine ... genius, that little engine. Took me all over and beyond. The car fell apart around that little engine that could. I received $50.00 for trade in ... I just loved that little blue car.
Actually, I think I may be easy to please... go figure.
Curious.

I drive my Mazda twin cab pickup mostly because it's economical & utilitarian.
Most of our cars you wouldn't recognize if I listed some of the 100 or so cars & trucks that I have owned in my life.
The car I would love...Audi A6. At one time the fastest production car in the world.

Do name some of those cars and trucks that will be "foreign" for me. We don't get much education about other countries here in the (it's all about ) US.
Dodge & Chrysler "Valiant".Renault.
I am not known for having 1 vehicle at a time.I have owned up to 6 cars at a time.We can talk about trucks some other time.Haha. Do you know what a ute is?
I never said anything about Australian content in my answer.Read it properly. For your information :- The Ford Falcon we have was fully developed in this country, for this country. The Holden Commodore which was originally developed from an Opel has now been gradually redeveloped for this country,Some models are now exported to the USA with Pontiac badges.Regardless of parent companies & where they come from we do develope & produce our own vehicles in this country.

My husband sold used cars. We would go to car auctions and caravan home with 4 or five cars. I drove the best on the lot. One time he sold the car I drove to work right out of the parking lot, I had to catch a ride home. My favorite was a 1963 Corvair, baby blue. I have driven many cars everything from a 58 Chevy Nomad to a Yugo to a Cruiser to the 2006 Toyota Scion XB that I drive now.
