    The equation for solving this is:
    x is the number of zebras y is the number of ostriches

    4x + 2y = 120
    2x + 2y = 86 (double the number of heads) Now subtract
    2x = 34
    x = 17 (this is the number of zebra heads)
    4x = 68 (this is the number of zebra legs)
    y = 26 (this is the number of ostrich heads)
    2y = 52 (this is the number of ostrich legs)
    17 + 26 = 43 heads 68 + 52 = 120 legs
    THANK MY SISTER FOR THE SOLUTION.

     17 zebras @ 4 legs = 68 legs
     26 ostriches @ 2 legs  = 52 legs

    17 + 26 = 43 heads
    68 + 52 = 120 legs

    DON'T EVEN ASK.
