    how do I graph the solution to this linear inequality? "Y is greater than or equal to X-5"

    first of all- y is greater than or equal to just means that if its greater than, you shade the graph above the line and if its less than you shade below the line. x-5 just means, starting from zero, on the x axis you go to the right five. and, starting from zero again on the y axis you go down five. make the line solid because of the or equal to. If it were just y is greater than or less than the line would be dashed.
