what can I do about daytime sleepiness. I am 90 yrs. old, female, have sleep apnea but use a CPAP machine. I take high blood pressure medications. General health is good. I am active, mentally and physically. Some days, like today, I can hardly function because of sleepiness.

Hi Sittee,,at 90 years old you are not going to do to much pole vaulting,,however i do suggest you have a yarn with your doctor..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

That's quite a yarn of a story, Terry. Maybe she should get some yarn and knit :-) Maybe b/c she's sleepy, she'll have a yawn with her Dr.

maybe your meds are making you sleepy. Review them with your Dr.  And try coffee, or going out more.....like walking or to the mall with a friend.

If you are alive and still suffering from severe sleepiness it may indicate a change of settings on your CPAP machine is necessary. Don't delay, go today.

I think it's safe to say she's still alive, Westie. Maybe the ''rumors of her death were greatly exaggerated '' - - - Mark Twain.
