My prayers are with Wayne.

DNanners...Three weeks ago my dad sufferd multiple strokes. The day before he had ridden his bike 22km and was a healthy and strong 67 year old man. The light swich flicked and now he is trying to learn to walk, eat and may never have the use of his left hand again. Through this tragedy I have found my relationship again with my one and only sister, my family has pulled together like never before. I see love and dedication to them like I have never experienced before. My dad has become my hero. I get to go to some of his therapy sessions and be his cheerleader.Through this situation we have all had to start believing in miracles and just as important look for the positive in the situation. I know that sounds crazy but it's the only way to hold on to sanity at times.I ache for all that love and know your brother in law but hold on tight to knowing God is somewhere in the mix here and he's not turned his back.I pray your brother in law has a strong spirit and a fire still lit to keep him determined. Maybe thats part of the families job to keep the fire of determination lit under his feet. Love is a form of healing and it sounds like he is surrounded with it. My heart goes out to you.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Wayne and his family. This is a life changer, one that will not ever be forgotten. I know in the midst of things, it's so scary so I pray for peace as well. Sending much love and light.
