The times they are a changing. I quite like rubbish TV at moments - the interactions of such shows are sometimes quite interesting.

Why would I want to watch someone live HIS life when I want to be busy living my own??
In answer to your question: It would seem so. People getting paid to be outrageous in their daily lives, or recruiting people to live in front of a camera and backstab people for six weeks. A million dollars to the "winner" is a cheap payoff for all that airtime, commercials, etc.
With the exception of PROJECT: RUNWAY, you won't find me in front of the TV for a reality show. That captured my attention because the people design and create remarkable clothing in a matter of hours. I can make jewelry or give myself a pedicure (among other things) while that's on, so it's not just idle time in front of the TV.

I despise reality tv shows and infomercials and that seems to be the only choices much nowdays there are only a few good channels out of all the ones offered. I think the people running the show so to speak now are dumb and stupid and do not know any better and have no class nor morals.

"Reality TV Watchers"
we get to watch real people watching reality TV!
Me and the Mrs. like to eat giant mayonnaise sandwiches while watching, mmmmm!
Yesterday the oldest child farted right on TV. Do you think there's a hidden meaning there? Cause my dog and parakeet do and they're usually right!
