I have IBS and must eat foods that contain fibre. IBS is irectable bowel syndrone. This means that I have problems with my bowels due to Fibromylgia Disease. This is one of the side effects of this disease. I cannot eat white potatoes. tomatoes, egg plant, green peppers, squash with white insides, or white onions, they have to be coloured. I also have to obstain from white bread, or drink milk or any items that contain lactose. No cheese, ice cream, cottage cheese.
Coffee or any caffiene also are a no no.
I am allowed to drink Soya milk and I must use Benefibre 2x's a day, 1 tsp each time.
If you can help me I would really appreciate it. Thank You

Look up 'Canada Food Guide'... jam packed with good information.
There is also lots of information available through health food and nutrition stores. You have lots of choices ... you just have to cook a little differently for yourself. Quinoa is delicious... a new world is opening up for you. Thinking about it this way helped me... I have severe allergies and I am celiac.
