    looking for antique "peanut popper" for hand shelling peanuts in '30's & '40's-remember "peanut shellings & candy-making nights"?

    they were made from thin strips of wood (or wood bark).  bent to a u-shape.  hold peanut in one hand and use this tool to pop the end of the shell open

    I think you will have to search antique stores and places like that.  I didn't see anything on GOOGLE or  E-Bay or Amazon.  So Sorry.  Maybe one of my colleagues will be able to find something for you.
