    Almost always the skins of the grapes. The redder the wine, the longer the skins have remained in contact with the juice during fermentation. There are a few varieties of grape which have red juice.

    It is the grapes, the type, the climate, the soil type, the barrels, if any are used, all contribute to the color hue and flavor of each wine. 

    I think its the grapes
