It all depends on what religion you equate yourself with... I can eat anything I want & not break any religious law....

It is not a 'sin' to eat pork, some religious observances forbid followers certain foods.

Bacon is a staple if you are Canadian.....we have bacon for breakfast ....lunch... and dinner...I dont see how it could be a sin unless I guess if it is because of a religious belief.

wish aus would adopt this practice, I adore bacon and onion sandwhiches, or bacon with just about anything

I don't think it is a sin,Muslims have different theorys though.

It is if you are a muslim or a vegetarian

    Depends on your religion

only if you are jewish or muslim

must admit Im not a vegetarian, but often feel guilty about eating meat

Toning down my reponse, there is a character on Sesame Street that would know, and it's not Miss  Piggy. Use your imagination.

it is not a sin against God to eat pork. it is a sin against yourself. pigs were put here to help keep the earth clean. they are scavengers and carry diseases that will affect people. thats why they salt down pig meat in an attempt to kill the germs in it. and thats also why you re to cook it thourghly and use garlic. garlic is a natural antibiotic.  i am seventh day adventist. we do not eat pork. some do.

Pork is the cleanest meat you will eat now.

yes, you can also eat it rare now if you wish

Pork is a bit like sex if God made anything better he kept it for himself, maybe he is trying to get the pork back. Bloody hell, hope he hasn`t got his sights on sex as well!

Why would it be unless your religion states otherwise, why isolate pork, I feel eating pork no worse than eating any other type of meat, its great with a wine and orange sauce!! and who could deny sunday breaky of bacon and eggs not a marriage made in heaven

I think it depends on your religion.  Any religion can make anything they want to a sin, if they want to.  I am Christian/Spiritual.  They have their sins.  I try to abide by the ten commandments. They have been my guiding light in life.  So if you like your religion and you like what they say is a sin.  Abide by it and/or sin and eat what they tell you not too.  However, there is always forgiveness.  There is always grace.  With regard to pork, your body may not agree.  From what i have come to learn pork is a mean meat to put in your body.  Causes all sorts of problems.  But who does not love barbeque.  Yum yum.

    Only to the pig.

Its only a sin when you shred it  up and put it in a tortilla with fried potatoes and green chile. You will go straight to hell.

When you eat pork you are disobeying God.

I believe it a sin to eat anything and not being thankfull for the blessing of food that God created.
