The reason you didn't get an answer is because the question doesn't make any sense.Re- think the question & try again.

Answer is 7/1 =7   or 49/7 =7       7-2 3/4=4 1/4     or 2 3/4 +4 1/4 =7   The truth here is old people have forgotten how to do fractions . Example  25x25  the last half of the answer will be 25 . 1 bigger than 2 is 3 .  3 x2 is 6 . The answer is 25x25=625     . Try 55x55 ,last half is 25 1 bigger than 5 is 6   Solution is 5x6 =30  or 3025  so 55x55 =3025 . Now play with your calculator and see if this works all the time .           Bill

as u say i was asking the wrong question. if you were subtracting mixed numbers 7-2 3/4how would you do it
