The answer to your first question is I dont know . But they do . Get a pre payed cell phone with out a contract and in a different name . Sadly direct deposit must stop changing accounts is a waste of time . Get a post office box for all mail . You can have no utilities of any kind in your name ,that means nothing !!!!!!!  No mail to your house at all nothing . Changing your email is not a bad idea ,but with this there is no going back . If you arent serious about this dont even bother . Find out what the debt retirement laws are in your state and be specific about what kind of debt it is . As some debt does not retire . As a last resort they will attach you IRS refund trust me they can and they will . You have rights and there are rules so learn the game . When they call if you attack on the phone if they think you are NUTS they will leave you alone after a bit . After all they may only be getting .10 cents on a dollar  of what they collect . If they think you are a real wack job they will move on to easier pickings . Dont break the law ,learn the rules you cant say just any thing .  Pick up a copy of HIGH TIMES Magazine read the classifieds and see what you can do with creative use of the mail . Send your collectors post cards from Hawaii while you still live in Ohio . Lots of options . Try Paldin Press for books about creative taunting of collectors . Easier to pay the bills ,and not fool with this is my advice . Pay if you must ,but nobody needs to be raped by these folks    Bill
