 luther taught that salvation is not earned by good deeds but received as a free gift by grace through faith in jesus christ as redeemer from sin.his theology challanged the authority of the pope of the roman catholic church by teaching that the bible is the only source of divinly revealed knowledge .those who inentify with luther's teachings are called lutherans.

in later years , while suffering from  several illnesses, luther became increasingly antisemitic insisting that jewish homes should be destroyed and their synagogues as well, these staments have contributed to his controversal status..

Martin Luther was an Augustian monk who lived in Germany in the 16th Century. He started a Protestant movement which evolved into Lutheranism of which many churches follow his teachings.

The amazing Mr Martin Luther King was born on the 15th January 1929 and was assassinated on April 4th 1968. He was an American clergyman.  From humble beginnings.he became a prominent leader in the African American Civil Rights Movement.  His methods were non-violent and his message spread around the world. In March 1963 he delivered his famous speach "I have a dream...." He was posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1977 and the Congress Gold Medal in 2004.
