You have to do some research on your own, I'm afraid. There are too many details to consider, for a complete stranger to answer your question. How do you live? Do you want a one-room shack downtown or do you prefer a 3-bedroom villa on a lake? Do you want a single cot to sleep on or do you prefer a king-size bed? Will a radio serve the purpose or would you prefer 50" television sets in each room? Get the picture? (No pun intended)

The living costs in Italy depend (as in any other country in the world) on if you live in an expensive city or a cheap to live in village. Despite that, I can give you an estimate on the average monthly expenses for a single person living in Italy: Housing - 410 euros, food - 180 euros, utilities - 55 euros, transport - 110 euros, clothing - 55 euros (although if you like to shop you will probably spend much more), Leisure - 110 euros. I would recommend you to do some research concerning the living expenses in the area you would like to live in before calculating your monthly budget.
