If I have oversalted soup or a stew is there anything I can do to save it?

add more broth (sodium free) or water, or one tablespoon of suger, maybe more depending on the size..another old school trick is to add a cabbage or lettuce leaf in long enough to soak up the salt..

I've always heard to add potato chunks and they would soak up the salt. I tried it and ended up with salty potatoes....
