    Not quite sure what you indentify as "wheel bearing proctector" but try these for size.


    The wheel bearing on most cars< in particular older ones, have a bearing seal to ( a) stop the grease from getting out  & (b) stop water and dirt getting in so in that regard could be referred to as a "protector".


    Most modern cars have a completely sealed factory greased wheel bearings that do all of the above.


    There is also a product on the market which in Australia is called a "bearing buddy". This is used to replace the cap over the outside of the bearing housing and has a grease nipple that allows for greasing the bearing without removal. I would add this "bearing buddy" is primarily designed for trailer wheel bearings.
