I'm sorry to hear this, because high creatinine levels are caused by kidney problems. So the only way to lower creatinine is by resolving the condition that's interfering with kidney function.
Pre-renal conditions which interfere with blood flow include very low blood pressure, heart function problems, and low blood volume. Renal conditions that directly damage the kidney include bacterial infections, kidney inflammation, toxins (alcohol, cocaine, heavy metals, medications), and atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). Post-renal conditions include factors which block the passage of urine out of the body, like ureter obstruction due to kidney stones, cysts and tumors. Also, bladder obstruction can occur due to prostate enlargement and bladder stones, tumors, or cysts.
Risk factors for kidney problems include old age, diabetes, heart failure, high blood pressure, liver disease, and shcok of any kind (this causes low blood volume). Basically, high creatinine levels then can be managed by treating whatever condition is causing a kidney problem.
