colleen your the fill in blank. just debate yourself.

Please do not give a thumbs down for opinions. If you do not like that people have different opinions than you, do not post questions. I see we need to up the karma for newbies before they are allowed to use the thumbs down feature. There is too much thumbs down going on here lately.

These thumbs downs are not acceptable. The members here are entitled to their opinion without fear of having points taken from them. From your karma history, this is you giving thumbs downs for opinions. Not good.

How about being adult and understanding there are different opinions in this world?

There is health care for all to enjoy. In most cases ,your local county hospital ,if they accept federal dollars must take you whether you pay or not. Look at all hospitals in california that failed, treating illegals and poor. There is one good solution. Hospitals start offering their own health plan. Let them compete. Then there are state university hospitals , learning hospitals to treat the poor . That way hospitals will control costs, perform necessary procedures. There is absolutely no need for insurance companies. Insurance companies are the ones killing the health care profession.

Affordable healthcare begins with everyone of us understanding our own health needs from childhood up. How to live a healthy life style and take care of minor problems, eat right and recognize when to see a PA. Regular checkups and personal study of the issues facing you is before any of us need to go to a health care system….health care begins at home and with you.

I would like to see a comprehensive healthcare plan implemented....sliding scale across the board to include physican fees and especially hospital charges...they are outrageous...along with radiology, laboratory fees, etc., etc. Probably a dream however!.....(:

god bless you colleen i think you have a good heart but your missing the point you have heath care you dont like . 30 000 000 destitute people have none. ask your congress person to give up his or her health care which you pay for and your answer will  come when hell freezes over. because there all millionaires or soon will be.

I have heath care I pay for out of pocket. $226.00 per month and it covers all but a $35.00 co-pay at my doctors office and all but 10% of a major surgery. Ambulance, ER visit, blood work, cat scans, xrays, mammograms are 100% covered. It's cheaper than what Obamacare would charge under the threat of imprisonment if I did not have health care. There is affordable health care, even for the poor. Some people are poor because they mismanage their money or are too lazy to work or get a better job. Instead they look to the government to supplement them. I should not have to lose my right to whether I have health insurance or not and be forced to have health care under the threat of imprisonment because of people who mismanage their money or are too lazy to work. I'm not saying all poor fall under that category but a great many do.

it is basically a triauge system heart failure first things that wont kill you last your right there is a price . but make no mistake my appointment is with some of the best doctors in the world. not abean counter in an ivory tower. and our friends from across the border cometo our university of western ontario . the doctors there saved the life of an american  singing legend  miss dionne warwick

Yet many Canadian doctors abandoned their own country and came to America to practice because they can make more money here. That is the number one reason there's such a backlog of services in your medical system. We save the lives of Canadians coming here to get faster service. Mexico has well known excellent medical care and it's cheap too. My father went to Mexico and they healed him when the doctors here in the states could not.
Please refrain from using racial slurs in your comments.

obviously someone has to care . wasnt that the position of the french all americans had with the iraq war

I think you're all over the board here. The people care. We just need to get our government to listen up. We can vote Obama out and try another leader who may come up with a more favorable plan. Right now even some of the courts in the US are voting down his plan as Unconstitutional.

Now I have to go run some errands. I'll be back later.

I believe in affordable health care. This does not cover the Obama-rip off the poor some more-health care.

the problem with affordable is its so arbitrary spell check.

So arbitrary spell check? What? Sliding scale affordable is possible. Obamacare puts money into the wallets of the fat cats, please research it.

You're not American then. Why are you concerned about American health care and voting me down on my dislike of Obamacare?

I have a friend in Canada where the health care is free and she is crippled because both of her knees are so bad. The earliest she can be scheduled for knee surgery is a year and a half from now. She is contemplating going to Mexico for the required surgeries.

    Bean counter.
Asking Obama to leave my country is not a racial slur. I see the damage he has done to this country and I believe he hates America. He can leave. If you continue to insult America and Americans. you will be removed from this forum. You are a Canadian trying to involve yourself in American affairs and offend Americans at the same time. You are a pot stirrer looking for reactions. akaQA is not the type of forum for that. Try Yahoo discussions.

This does not have anything to do with my dislike of Obamacare. I said affordable health care can be achieved. What exactly are you arguing? I'd rather not have free health care. The wait time for required medical assistance is too long under free health care plans.

I have always believed that that this country needs national healthcare. The Us is the only developed country that does not have national healthcare. The US is spending much more money on healthcare than any other country and yet it ranks # 37. Health insurance has increased dramaticly and still going up/. I agree with Zorro.  If we get rid of insurance companies, our insurance premiums would be much lower. I think all American Citizen have a right to healthcare.
