THIS IS UNWANTED, UNSOLICITED, UNDESIRABLE. AND I HATE THEM MORE THAN ANYTHING! THIS COMPUTER IS FOR PRIVATE USE, NOT A BILLBOARD!
THIS TYPE OF MIS-USE (OR USE), SHOULD ONLY BE PRACTICED BY PERMISSION!
THIS IS A DISGUSTING INTRUSION!

You computer is private use until you hit the internet, then it's an open house. It is up to you to make your computer safe by installing an anti-virus which will block malicious software and also to enable your pop up blocker. Advertisers pay for the right to be promoted on the internet, just like commercials on TV. Your TV is your private property until you tap into the airwaves to receive programing, then it is an open house for companies to put their ads on your screen. The same holds true for the internet. How to enable your pop up blocker:
Tools > Options > Content tab > place a check mark next to Block pop up windows > OK
Now if your rant is concerning akaQA, we pay to be placed on certain toolbars. We may be on a toolbar you use. You would have to uninstall the toolbar the application is on to stop any pop up you might be getting from us. Or If you see a green or blue Ask a Question button on your tool bar, right click on it, select show/hide, find the akaQA icon and click on it. This will deactivate ask a question (akaQA). Or to remove the toolbar, follow these steps Start menu > Control panel > add/uninstall programs > locate the toolbar, if it's Bing, it hides under the name conduit or conduit engine > uninstall.
Have a good day or night depending on where you are.
