    light speed is not absolute, what is the tolerance from the average speed number used as an absolute number in the past?

    I do not know the answer to that question, but I do know Ernestine's E-MC2 was never proved, by him or anyone else!.  Even he did not mention it in his book.


    The speed of light has shown to be RELATIVE to the prospective of the VIEWER.


    The Speed of light apparently was MUCH faster right after the BIG BANG and has slowed experientially, as the Universe continues to EXPAND, based on what I have be reading.


    An astronaut moving toward the center of the UNIVERSE would not have passed as much  time as those who remain in place.


    That was the theory on which the book "Planet of the Apes.." based.
