In the past, I have lied out of fear and I have lied in order not to hurt another persons feelings.

One of my uncles is a compulsive liar and why I don't understand the purpose of compulsive lying, I'm content knowing that I am kin to George Jones and Elvis Presely (according to my uncle). :))

Sadly...to bolster their self image mainly.Liars have something missing in their lives,that's for sure.
