    what can i do if employer refuses to pay me my final paycheck

    Got to industrial relations and report them . Or a work place related Tribunial


     


    Why did they not pay you? Did you give them the correct amount of notice ect ?

    LOL hmmmm well he could end up someones B*tch doing that ...

    In the US a company must pay for all of the hours you worked (even if you were fired).  The only way they can withhold that pay is if you destroyed something they needed to replace or you still have company belongings (uniform, laptop, cell phone, etc).  I would call the payroll dept. or HR dept. to see what is going on. If they are adding in unused sick and vacation time it may take them a bit longer than usual to issue the check.

    If in the states, contact the Department of Labor.
