Whether animals have morality or not is debatable. Some researchers claim to observe behaviors that originates from morality, such as a report of observing a dominant wolf in a pack pretends to be "handicap" or submissive towards lower ranked wolves, and allow them bite them. The researcher that observed that behavior claims that without moral code, this couldn’t happen.
Those who claim animals may have morality also say that just as moral codes differ between societies, animal may have moral codes that humans cannot understand.
Those who claim that only humans have morality say that this is due to we being unique in the animal kingdom because we can make judgments about others' and ours own behaviors, and due to the ability to consciously change our own and other's behaviors.
