I believe it's rotator cuff
2 Answers
Rotator cuff injury can be very painful. When there's a tear in that area, the nerves and blood vessels quickly "grow" into and through the muscles located near the socket area. When this happens, the shoulder tends to "freeze" or lock. A frozen shoulder can be unfrozen by way of physical therapy, exercise, or surgery.
In my case, I had to have surgery to "unlock" my frozen shoulder. The doctor actually "broke" the locked area, while I was under anesthesia, by spinning my arm until such time all the nerves affected were separated and my shoulder was thereby "unlocked."
Physical therapy begins the following day after surgery.

I think I have rotator cuff injury. I've been kinda hiding in my chair for a long, long time.
I am terrified of surgery. I'd rather do it myself.
