There are a variety of loves. You can love your car, Ipod, scrambled eggs and toast. Loving your cat, dog, or hamster would be a little different. Loving your mom and dad, sister and brother would be a third and fourth kind of love. You could love your history class and working out or playing tennis. You can love your newborn baby and your great great grandmother. You can love spending time with a friend, and you can love the man or woman whom you marry.
There are so many "categories" and intensities of love. Think about the different things and people you love and how they afffect your life and how you feel when you are with them. I'll bet you love a root beer float a whole lot different than your best friend.

If you're young, and in love for the first time, you can't sleep, you can't eat, you can't concentrate on your studies. You feel like you're on top of the world......you can conquer everything. it's like a drug high. It's euphoria. You think about that person all the time. That's the first stages of love. Then, after that, it wears off a little and becomes frustrating; like if you want to get married and he or she doesn't. Or if you want kids, and the object of your love doesn't.
