Please don't worry, you are young I think, and that is in your favor! Everything will work out, you'll see. Have the best support system available to you that you can!! Reach out to others for help and enjoy watching her grow!!

No social life, no sleep and many, many anxious nights watching her to make sure everything is OK. A mild fever is going to have you calling experienced family members and her doctor. A little cough is going to alarm you...it's all new mom worries. You'll get through it. Eventually, you WILL sleep again. ;)

Very true answers and mine was collicky for many months, but I don't want to scare you at all! It's just life and you do the best you can! You, also have many beautiful moments watching her progress at each step. Watching her smile 1st time, roll over 1st time, crawl, walk, talk 1st time and that's just the beginning! Watching them sleep is so heartwarming! Take vitamins, sleep as much as you possibly can, pass her off a day a week if you safely can for personal sanity and rejunvination. Take TONS of video, you will be amazed in 10 or 15 yrs rewatching them, and fun, too! I also kept a diary of all the little or funny things she said or did, and now I'm glad I did becausr I NEVER would have remembered them now. Best of luck!!

Congratulations Nevaeh2222 on the pending arrival of your baby. You will have the most deepest love,a strong desire to protect your child, you will thank god for what you have been given, you will think your baby is the best, you will instinctivly nurture and provide for her,and you will know that nothing will come between you and your child. These thoughts and emotions will play a big part when your baby enters the world.

                                                         All the best to you.

    expect the unexpected   :-)

you will love her so much. she will be the focal point of all conversation. just relax. im sure you have family members to help you. and remember..... never shake a baby. get fed up with the crying, call someone to come help you. i know i had a slew of kids

    A very very busy time.

Oh yeah?  Try to go without sleep for 60 days and let us know if you feel the same way.

To raise a child well, you must be inspired to do this job for the next 2 decades, and not just get motivated for 6-9 months.  when all is said and done, this will be the highest achievement you can have on this earth.

    Can you handle this?

    So very true..........

If there is no daddy in the picture, give her lots of grandpa time so she will have a man in her life. Don't expose her to your boyfriends until you have a keeper.

Expect a healthy child. All will be good.

Joy , Joy and more Joy!!!!!!!!!!

the dads around :) no worries and my family helps alot im blessed

The best thing about a new baby at first is that they just want to be with you and sleep and eat and go to the bathroom and sleep a little bit more.  Mostly they just want to be with you.

It is the most brilliant experience in the entire world...lifetime...no matter what you do...this is the greatest time.  You will truly fall in love.  You will witness the most beautiful human being that ever existed, placed in your arms and that beautiful person will grow up in your care and in front of you.

It's a miracle.  It is laughter.  It is tears.  It is diapers.  It is wonder and joy.

My little man is now 2.  I don't think there are words to explain this.  I gave birth to him at 48 years old.  I wish for you the joy that I feel.  I love the name you chose.  It is beautiful.

dad to be no where in sight......

A gift from god a little angel!

You will need help, lots of it. How much help will you have.?

Endless sleepless nights, endless pongy nappies (diapers) endless bouts of crying, endless throwing of food on the floor, endless trips to the doctor but guess what?

WORTH EVERY ONE OF THEM. This from a father of 9

Expect to feel extraordinary love for her and also expect many sleepless nights at first until she sleeps through the night....usually around 3 to 4 months of age or later (depends upon her temperament...my kids slept through at 3-4 months but this is not always the case)....the rest will fall into place....make sure to change her diapers often as when they are so young they get some nasty rashes on their delicate skin.....enjoy your baby and good luck to you!.(:
