    In simple, prime numbers are those numbers which is exactly divide itself. Here the number "1" is excluded, since it is the common factor of all the numbers.


    For example, 2 is exactly divisible by 2 only [excluding 1], so 2 is a prime number


    Similarly, 3 is exactly divisible by 3 only [excluding 1], so, 3 is a prime number


    and so on.
