I believe its okay to stay friends after a romantic relationship breaks up. If there is a friendship left given some time apart I think you can keep a good friend. Sometimes we push romance where there was only friendship to begin with. There are allot of my friends who think I am strange to have ex's who are still friends but I wouldn't change me for anything.

I beleive that staying friends with someone you once dated is a good idea but only on very few occasions...it can cause jealously in your parnter and lead to other relationship issues...however cutting them off completely doesnt always have to be the option just try to keep in brief contact with them..however if you are single then maybe it would be good to have another close friend

LOL Okay I should have said friends with someone you have had a relationship with for years but the romance doesn't work yet there still is a liking there. Some people think relationships should be broken off after the romance is gone. I tend to think if there is still a friendship why break away completely?
Don't know Malcolm. I always thought there are more women then men and you guys have waay too many choices. Which explains part of the whole not wanting to commit that men in general have going on.
