Built pyramids so future generations could wonder in amazement on how they were built.

For fun? Increase the population.

They don't finish their buildings because that would cost more in taxes and they pile their garbage to the moon!

They ate and ate, dumb, dumb. There was no television or radio nor any phones.

They had there games, they entertained one another....(when they weren't working....)

From what I have seen on several  history type channels.............Sex,  creatively,  and lots of  it! Among some other things.  Challenging  games were another way............hard work, as well as honoring their Dieties, or their Gods,.............and many more, I'm sure..............!!!!!
