I'm more a flip-flop and athletic shoes type person (and I wear my bowling shoes alot). Recently I have purchased some really high heels (like 4 inches). They are not stilettos, though, more of a stacked heel. They are getting more comfortable, but are not something I would wear dancing! My feet are wide, too; most of the "cute" shoes aren't going to accommodate my dogs.

The only time I wore high heels was when I got married (the first time!). So, let that be a message to all you young single gals! Only kidding....I never did wear them as I was 5'9'' when I was younger and pretty much towered over a lot of folks! I am now 5'6'' thanks to shrinkage but too old to care and it is true they are bad for the old back although I know that men do find them extremely sexy. (:

I love wearing them, they are poetry to the feet! An elegant shoe doesn't need to be high, height adds drama Providing the shoes well fitted and comfortable so that posture is maintained I think they do 'something' for the overall appearance, also they keep the calf muscles toned! But the most important thing about any and every shoe is the person in them.

I like Joseph Seibel, Groundhog, El Natura Lista and Naot the best. In fact I love them. I love shoes...not even a little love but a whole lotta love...I bought the cutest pair of Demonia sneakers last year and I love love love Converse. No high heels here just funky-comfort...high heels wouldn't go with the rest of my wardrobe. I am far too earthy for that.
