I usually wear them only when I'm going out.  It makes your legs look longer and makes you feel sexy too. Otherwise, Converse all the way for me.

I'm more a flip-flop and athletic shoes type person (and I wear my bowling shoes alot).  Recently I have purchased some really high heels (like 4 inches).  They are not stilettos, though, more of a stacked heel.  They are getting more comfortable, but are not something I  would wear dancing!  My feet are wide, too; most of the "cute" shoes aren't going to accommodate my dogs.

Makes the "hips sway my mind goes astray from other thoughts "WHole lot of "Shaking going on".

I FIND THEY PUT A LOT OF STRAIN ON MY CALFS,

    Doesn't that keep them toned?
    ole hipster

I can tell you're whacked! Welcome to the "whacked club" you are now an official card-carrying member! I am self appointed president...anyone else care to join?...please line up next to dirty den's right...lol...(:

The only time I wore high heels was when I got married (the first time!). So, let that be a message to all you young single gals! Only kidding....I never did wear them as I was 5'9'' when I was younger and pretty much towered over a lot of folks! I am now 5'6'' thanks to shrinkage but too old to care and it is true they are bad for the old back although I know that men do find them extremely sexy. (:

I love wearing them, they are poetry to the feet! An elegant shoe doesn't need to be high, height adds drama  Providing the shoes well fitted and comfortable so that posture is maintained I think they do 'something' for the overall appearance, also they keep the calf muscles toned! But the most important thing about any and every shoe is the person in them.

I go barefooted a lot except when the temps are 95 plus on the streets. I'll put on sock in the winter but shoes give me blisters, don't like them.  I do like the occasional dress up in heels though...and take off the heels the minute I get  home...

Please say yes. I love a woman who can walk in heels.

no. they hurt my feet plus they re not good for your back

I like Joseph Seibel, Groundhog, El Natura Lista and Naot the best.  In fact I love them.  I love shoes...not even a little love but a whole lotta love...I bought the cutest pair of Demonia sneakers last year and I love love love Converse.  No high heels here just funky-comfort...high heels wouldn't go with the rest of my wardrobe.  I am far too earthy for that.
