Instructions
1
Open the hood and locate the oil filter on the driver’s side of the engine. The filter sticks out of the side of the engine and is easily recognizable.
2
Locate the PCV valve on the side of the engine just behind the oil filter. It is a small screw-in valve with a large rubber hose coming off it. The PCV valve is on the driver’s side of the engine.
3
Pull the rubber hose off the end of the PCV valve, then use a 19-mm wrench to turn the valve counter clockwise. Turn the valve until it is loose enough to remove from the block. Discard the old valve.
4
Install the new valve into the threaded hole in the engine block and tighten it with a 19-mm wrench. Push the rubber hose back onto the end of the new PCV valve.
